Nelson’s experience, feel and sensitivity led him to develop the first truly close contact saddles that put the rider in the most balanced and comfortable position. Nothing is more important in achieving this unique feel and balance than the panels of the saddle.

To ensure precision, the molding and design of the Pessoa® panels are protected by a patent and areproduced entirely in house to ensure the integrity of the original design.

Both Nelson and Rodrigo test ride saddles from each production of panels at their equestrian center in Brussels to ensure that every Pessoa® saddle rides like a Pessoa®.

With the perfection of the AMS® system, some Pessoa® saddles are now offered with synthetic wool flocking for those who prefer this type of panel over the Bayflex® foam panels.
